About Me

Thank you for visiting my website. I am an applied microeconomist with a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of Connecticut.

My research examines how public policies affect labor markets, maternal and infant health, food security, and economic inequality. I use large administrative and survey datasets and quasi-experimental methods to study these questions.

My work includes research on employer concentration and minimum wages, paid family leave, maternal and infant health, and food policy. I am particularly interested in how public policies affect workers and families and how their effects vary across groups and market conditions.

Before my doctoral studies, I spent six years developing credit risk models for financial institutions in Spain, Italy, and France, working with large datasets and quantitative models to support financial decision-making.
